Despite several show cancellations and reports of low ticket sales, Jay Z’s 4:44 Tour was expected to rack in a considerable amount of money. In fact, according to Billboard, the tour became Jay’s highest-grossing solo tour just three dates in, setting high expectations for the rest of the 32-date run.
“This tour will be the biggest headlining tour of Jay’s career,” Live Nation’s Omar Al-Joulani told the publication in early November.
So, now that Jay is no longer on the road, many people are wondering just how much money his shows brought in. Though we don’t have an official figure, a recent report by Pollstar reveals the tour had grossed more than $24 million ahead of the final stop in Los Angeles on Dec. 21.
